Sudeep’s ‘Billa Ranga Baashaa’ will be set in 2209

Kiccha Sudeep’s new film that is in the pipeline has been titled Billa Ranga Baashaa. The film will be directed by Anup Bhandari and bankrolled by Sudeep under his banner Supri Yanvi Studio in association with Jack Manju. Reports say that director Anup Bhandari is planning a science fiction story set in the year 2209. All other details regarding the film are being kept under wraps for now, say sources. There are reports doing rounds that Billa Ranga Baashaa will be made in multiple languages and released across the globe.

Billa Ranga Baashaa will not take off immediately as Sudeep is busy competing Kotigobba 3. While Sudeep himself has penned Kotigobba 3, it is being directed by debutant Shiva Karthik. Arjun Janya is composing music for this venture while Shekar Chandru is handling the camera.

Besides Kotigobba 3, Sudeep has Pailwaan that is gearing up for release soon. The film is in the post production stages right now. In Pailwaan, the star plays a wrestler and boxer, and has undergone special training for it.

Further, the versatile actor will be seen in the Telugu flick Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in which he plays a pivotal role. Sudeep will be sharing screen space with mega star Chiranjeevi and Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. Sye Raa is directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Production Company.

Sudeep has also signed a deal to star in the Hindi movie Dabangg 3, in which he will be playing a character called Sikander. The film, to be directed by Prabhu Deva, will have Salman Khan playing the male lead with his brother Arbaaz Khan in a pivotal role.

The actor is also playing a role in the Malayalam film Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, in which he will be sharing screen space with Mohanlal.
