Written by : Digital Native

SS Karthikeya, son of ace director SS Rajamouli, has caught attention with his unique promo and trailer cuts for films such as Manam and Baahubali. The youngster is running his own publicity house ‘Showing Business’, through which he handles the promotional activities of films and makes catchy trailer cuts.

He is now all set to follow the footsteps of his father and will soon be seen wielding the megaphone. SS Karthikeya is also planning to make a database of theatre artistes from Kerala and will be auditioning on August 15 at Janabheri Auditorium in Shornur. The database will be put to use for the entire Telugu film industry, say sources. Anyone with theatre experience can walk in for the audition and who knows they can be the next big name in the film industry!

Meanwhile, his father SS Rajamouli is busy with his upcoming film tentatively titled as RRR. The photo shoot of the film happened in the US a few months ago and now the director is busy with the prep work to get it on to the floors.

While every Telugu movie buff wants to know about RRR’s progress, we hear from sources that the shooting will commence in November this year. Reports are that the team is planning it as a Sankaranthi release in January 2020 and that the shooting will be wrapped up on time. This means, the director will be taking nearly a year to complete the shooting.

RRR is a multi-starrer that will have Jr NTR and Ram Charan Teja in the lead roles. The film’s working title is RRR, which stands for the three Rs – Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Rama Rao. Expectations are very high on this project as it happens to be SS Rajamouli’s directorial after the magnum opus Baahubali: the Beginning and Baahubali: the Conclusion with which he was associated for over five years.
