Following the runaway success of Remo, Sivakarthikeyan has commenced work on director Mohan Raja’s yet-untitled big-budget film.

This project marks the first pairing of Siva and Nayanthara, besides Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil playing the antagonist. It’ll be the second time after Kaaki Sattai, Siva will don khaki and director Mohan is confident about featuring him in a never seen before avatar and in a role that will stand out.

Meanwhile, we’ve learnt from reliable sources that Siva’s next project with Indru Netru Naalai director Ravi Kumar will be a science-fiction film. Although Siva had confirmed that the project with Ravi will be the most ambitious one of his career, without ruling out the option of it being a sci-fi flick; it’s believed that it will be an alien science-fiction thriller and the pre-production work is already underway.

In a recent interview, Siva had said that the pre-production work on Ravi’s film will take a really long time, and hence, he plans to complete Mohan Raja’s project and the comic outing with director Ponram in the interim. Siva’s project with Ponram is rumoured to be the sequel to Rajini Murugan, and it will go on the floors around mid next year.
