Sivakarthikeyan replaces Lawrence in Ponram’s film

Written by : TNM

Actor Sivakarthikeyan is burning the midnight oil for his next film Remo, in which he briefly comes as a woman and has undergone an unbelievable makeover.

Tipped to be a romantic-comedy, the film is expected to the most expensive project in his career so far. As the actor is gearing up for the release of Remo, it is believed that he has signed his next project. It will be with director Ponram, with whom he has already worked in Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan.

Originally, Ponram was in talks with actor-choreographer Lawrence for the project. However, since things didn’t pan out the way he had anticipated, he decided to drop the idea and reunite with Sivakarthikeyan for the third time. This project will only go on the floors later this year and sources indicate that unlike their previous rural outings, this time they’ll be venturing into something different.

It is also being rumoured that Sivakarthikeyan might produce this project and rope in a studio to distribute the film widely during its release. Siva also has a film with director Mohan Raja and in all probability he will finish this project first and then start work on Ponram’s film.
