Sources are rife with the news that the Siva Karthikeyan starrer, which has Nayanthara as his leading lady, has been titled as Velaikaran. Incidentally, this is the title of the Rajinikanth starrer that was released way back in 1987. Directed by SP Muthuraman, the film was an action comedy entertainer.

When enquired about the title, sources said that it has not been finalised yet and is subject to change later.

Directed by Mohan Raja, the film has Nayanthara pairing up with Siva Karthikeyan for the first time. The star cast also include Mollywood actor Faahadh Faasil and Sneha. 

Rock Star Anirudh is composing music for this flick.

According to sources, the film is about food adulteration and Siva Karthikeyan’s crusade against it.
