Shiva Rajkumar to play teacher’s role in ‘Drona’

The Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar has Rustum, Kavacha and The Villain lined up for release this year. And now, the actor has signed yet another project – the Pramod Chakravarthy directorial Drona.

The official pooja of Drona is expected to begin on June 22 this year. And according to reports, the film is set to go on floors in August. By then the star would have completed his ongoing assignments.

The film will be produced under the banner of Dolphin Media House, and will have Swati Sharma playing the female lead with Rangayana Raghu, V Manohar, Sadhu Kokila in the supporting roles. According to reports, Shivanna will be seen playing a teacher in Drona.

The star began this year with Tagaru hitting the silver screens. Directed by Duniya Soori, the film released on February 23.

Siva Rajkumar’s next release will be The Villain. This film went on the floors last year and the shooting has been wrapped up. The team is currently busy with the post production work and its release date will be worked out depending on its completion.

The Villain is one of the most anticipated films in the Kannada film industry and will see Sudeep sharing the screen space with Shiva Rajkumar for the first time. It will also mark Amy Jackson’s debut in Sandalwood. Directed by Prem, The Villain has been shot extensively in various locations abroad.

According to reports, Shiva Rajkumar will look in the film will also be a big surprise for the fans.

Meanwhile, his film Kavacha is scheduled for release later this year.
