Expectations are high on the P Vasu directorial, Ayushman Bhava, which has the Kannada megastar Shiva Rajkumar in the lead role. The film is set for release on November 1 to coincide with the Kannada Rajyothsava Day. The shooting of this film was wrapped up some time ago and it is currently in the post-production mode.

It may be noted here that P Vasu and Shiva Rajkumar are collaborating for the second time, with their first outing Shivalinga being a big hit. Rachita Ram is playing Shiva Rajkumar’s heroine in the film and Nidhi Subbiah will be seen in an important role. According to reports doing the rounds, veteran actors Prabhu and Suhasini Maniratnam have been roped in to play important roles in this flick. However, their roles are being kept a secret for now. The technical crew of Ayushman Bhava includes Guru Kiran for music and PKH Doss for cinematography.

While details about Ayushman Bhava are being kept strictly under wraps to up the suspense factor, people close to the team have hinted that it belongs to the horror genre. This news certainly has film buffs and Shiva Rajkumar fans excited and waiting eagerly for Ayushman Bhava.

Shiva Rajkumar currently has a slew of films such as SRK, Bhajarangi 2 and Drona in different stages of production. It may be noted here that Shiva Rajkumar and director A Harsha are teaming up for the third time for Bhajarangi 2. On choosing the title, the director had reportedly said that it will have no connection with Bhajarangi but that he chose it because his team liked the name. So, from what we gather, Bhajarangi 2 will be a completely different story. The film will have Bhavana sharing screen space opposite Shiva Rajkumar.
