Shine Tom Chacko - Nithya Menen film is titled 'Aaram Thirukalpana'

Nithya Menen and Shine Tom Chacko are coming together for a crime thriller that will be directed by Ajay Devaloka. The makers have released the first look and the title of the film. Titled Aaram Thirukalpana, the film is produced under the banner Corridor 6.

Nithya Menen tweeted the first look titled poster of the film. “Presenting to you... The title of my next film! "AARAM THIRUKALPANA " a crime thriller directed by Ajay Devaloka-who's first film premiered at @cannes with Shine Tom & myself in very interesting roles. Looking forward to this one! :) a film with a young and talented crew (sic).”

Director Akay Devaloka has earlier said to the Times of India, “It is an end-to-end crime thriller inspired by a true incident. It is going to be a haunting movie which will also make viewers shed tears.” He added, “When I first heard about the incident, I was really hooked by it and I spoke to Shine Tom Chacko. He was equally excited and said that we should work on the script. That’s how it all began.” On Nithya Menen’s role, all he said was that it will be a “strong and powerful” character and Shine will be seen as a cop, he added.

The film is written jointly by Mohammed Jishad and Shabna Mohammed. The shooting of this flick will begin in September and the groundwork for it is on. Plans are on to complete the entire shooting in Kozhikode.

Nithya Menen’s last film release was Pranaa, which won her accolades for her performance. Directed by VK Prakash, Pranaa was produced by Suresh Raj, Praveen S Kumar and Anita Raj.

Ajay Devaloka’s last directorial was Who which hit the marquee last year. It was a science fiction that was released in English and Malayalam. The film featured Shine Tom Chacko, Shruthy Menon, Pearle Maaney, Rajeev Pillai and Sreekanth Sreedharan in the lead roles. The film had its official world premiere at the 71st Cannes film festival's market section on May 15, 2018.
