Vikram Kumar, the director of Suriya’s “24”, who also helmed “13 B” and “Manam”, is reportedly engaged to 27-year-old sound designer, Srinidhi, who works with AR Rahman. The couple met while working on “24”, and are said to have instantly hit it off.

The couple got engaged at a private ceremony over the weekend in Chennai. The duo plans to tie the knot in September. Vikram is likely to take a long break from projects until the wedding, and is likely to start working on his next film with Allu Arjun from October or November.

Meanwhile, Suriya and Vikram might collaborate again for the prequel to “24”, which will deal with the rivalry between the twin brothers in the film. This project, if it materializes, will only go to the floors in a year or two.
