Sequel to 'Indru Netru Naalai' announced

Indru Netru Naalai, released in 2015, was written and directed by debutant R Ravi Kumar and was produced jointly by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment and KE Gnanavelraja’s Studio Green.

The film had Vishnu Vishal and Miya in the lead roles with Karunakaran, TM Karthik and Jayaprakash in supporting roles. The technical crew of this film included A Vasanth as the cinematographer, Hip Hop Tamizha for music and Leo John Paul for editing. R Ravikumar had directed it.

After four years, the producer of Indru Netru Naalai has announced that a sequel to it is on cards. Producer CV Kumar had tweeted, “We are exited to announce #Indru_Nettru_Naalai_2 perfect sequel penned by @Ravikumar_Dir directing by his associate #spkarthic dop @dineshkrishnanb music by @GhibranOfficial Shoot starting on September Other cast and crew details soon @ThirukumaranEnt @onlynikil @actorkarunan — C V Kumar (@icvkumar) June 26, 2019.”

The sequel will be directed by SP Karthick, who had assisted R Ravikumar in directing Indru Netru Naalai and R Ravikumar will be penning the script. The technical crew for the sequel will be Dinesh Krishnan for cinematography and Ghibran for music. The shooting of this film will begin in September and currently, the groundwork for it is on.

Indru Netru Naalai is being remade in Telugu with Sundeep Kishan and Tanya Hope playing the lead pair. Tanya made her debut in Appatlo Okadundevadu and has acted in a couple of Tollywood movies. The Telugu remake is being directed by Mohan, a debutant. The groundwork to get this remake on the floors has begun already and the shooting has commenced.
