Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt’s visit to the sets of Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming film has triggered rumours that he is playing a role in the film. But there is no official confirmation on this yet. While on his visit, Sanjay Dutt posed for a photo with Vishnu Manchu and Suniel Shetty, who is also a part of the star cast. According to reports, Suniel Shetty is playing a cop in the film, which is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and English.

Hollywood filmmaker Jeffrey Gee Chin is directing the film while it is being bankrolled by Viranica Manchu. Kajal Aggarwal and Ruhani Singh have been roped in to play the female leads. A crossover film, it will be released in Telugu and English simultaneously, we hear.

Interestingly, Sanjay Dutt is making his debut in the Kannada film industry with KGF: Chapter 2. KGF: Chapter 1 and 2 are directed by Prashanth Neel, who has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues. Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films is the producer. The film has Yash playing the lead role and Srinidhi Shetty plays the lead opposite him.

The technical team of KGF: Chapter 2 comprises music director Ravi Basrur, cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda and art director Shivakumar. While Yash and Srinidhi Shetty play the lead pair, the rest of the star cast includes Achyuth Kumar, Nassar, Anant Nag and Vasishta N Simha.

KGF: Chapter 1, which hit the marquee in December last year, was released in five languages simultaneously – Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. The film went on to become a blockbuster hit and overnight Yash became a star with pan Indian appeal. The film was distributed by some of the most high profile distributors in the film industry.

With KGF turning out to be a massive success in all the languages it was released in, movie buffs are waiting eagerly for the sequel. Like the prequel, KGF: Chapter 1 will be dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
