Sandalwood film 'Kirik Party' grosses over Rs 40 crore

Sandalwood film Kirik Party has reportedly grossed Rs 40 crore at the box office.

The film has done well in India as well as abroad and the collections speak of its success. 

Sources say that the filmmakers are yet to strike a deal on its satellite rights and if this is through, the amount may go up. 

Directed by Rishab Shetty, the film starred Rakshit Shetty, Rashmika Mandanna, Samyuktha Hegde, Aravind Iyer, Dhananjay Ranjan and Pramod Shetty in prominent roles. 

Produced by GS Guptha and Rakshit Shetty under the banner Parmvah Studios, the film premiered on 29th December, 2016 and released in India the next day.

The film was made on a budget of Rs 4 crore.

It may be mentioned here that Rishab’s directorial debut Ricky was a hit and his second venture also opened to positive reviews at the Box Office.
