Salman Khan to watch Telugu indie hit Pellichoopulu

Written by : TNM

Superstar Salman Khan has a keen eye for good films and irrespective of the language they’re made in, he makes it a point to watch. He has now set his eyes on latest Telugu indie hit, Pellichoopulu, which has taken the industry by storm and has won over audiences and critics alike since its release in cinemas.

Apparently, writer-director Vijayendra Prasad, who penned Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, recommended the film to Bhai who, upon hearing from the veteran, requested for a special screening of the movie.

The film’s producer and director Tharun, Bhascker Dhaassyam are currently in Mumbai where they’ve met Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and have already initiated talks for the remake.

Salman, who is currently shooting in Ladakh, is expected to watch the film soon and will subsequently take a call on whether to remake the film or not. However, sources have hinted that the remake might introduce Salman’s second brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, who is married to Arpita Khan.

While Tharun is not interested to helm the Hindi version, the producers are keen that he takes on the directorial responsibility.
