Facebook user Preeti Vangani puts to good use stills from some of Khan’s older movies and television appearances, creating a set of memes that cleverly point out what was left unsaid in the conversation over Salman Khan’s rape remark.

In an interview with Spotboye, Khan said that the shooting for the film Sultan was physically exhausting: “When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight.”

The implication is that there is a certain way – exhausted / unable to walk – that a raped woman would feel like. By extension, a woman who’s been sexually assaulted cannot feel or behave any other way. If she can walk after she’s been raped, then it probably didn’t happen.

Preeti calls out this bullshit by turning Khan’s logic on its head: Since Sallu Bhai claimed he knew what a raped woman felt like, thanks to his movie shoot, he also probably knew what it felt like to be leched at, burned on your husband’s pyre, pregnant, and so on.
