Sai Dharam Tej to star in Kishore Tirumala's next

Sai Dharam Tej’s next will be the Kishore Tirumala directorial, which will be produced by the popular production house Mythrie Movie Makers. The film will be titled Chitralahari — Bar and Restaurant.

The film will go on to the floors later this month and the prep work for it has begun already. Having had a string of flops, Sai Dharam Tej is now under pressure to deliver a hit to sustain his place in the Telugu film industry.

Reports say that he returned from the two-month long US trip recently and his sporting an all new look.

Chitralahari — Bar and Restaurant will have two women lead actors sharing the screen space with Sai Dharam Tej. Reports are that Ritika Singh of Guru fame and Kalyani Priyadarshan, who made her acting debut with the Akhil Akkineni starrer Hello last year, may be roped in.

Both women actors will reportedly be given equally pivotal roles which will have adequate scope for performance.

Director Kishore Tirumala made his debut with the Tamil film Pillaiyar Theru Kadeisi Veedu and went on to direct the Telugu movie Second Hand. However, he rose to prominence with his second film, Nenu Sailaja which was a big hit. Released in 2016, the film starred Ram Pothineni and Keerthy Suresh as the lead pair.

His last film release was Vunnadi Okate Zindagi, which was out at the theatres last year. This film had Ram Pothineni in the lead role with Anupama Parameswaran, and Lavanya Tripathi.
