'Saaho' team shoots Prabhas' intro scene at Ramoji Film City

Prabhas is currently busy shooting for the high budget film Saaho. The star has been working for the magnum opus for nearly a year now and is expected to wrap it up soon. Reports are that the team is presently shooting a robbery sequence set in the European backdrop. Reportedly, Prabhas will be planning and executing a heist and that will be the highlight of the film. Sources in the know say that this will be the intro scene for Prabhas in the movie. Currently, the Saaho team is stationed in Hyderabad where they are filming the sequence at the Ramoji Film City.

Saaho, directed by Sujeeth, is bankrolled by V Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations on a budget of Rs 300 crore. The film’s star cast also includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Lal, Arun Vijay, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff, Vennela Kishore, Mahesh Manjrekar and Chunkey Pandey in supporting roles. While Prabhas plays the male lead in this action entertainer, sharing the screen space with him as his heroine is Shraddha Kapoor.

The technical crew of this film includes Shankar – Ehsaan – Loy for composing music with R Madhi cranking the camera and A Sreekar Prasad editing. Saaho is a trilingual that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. 

The making of Saaho video was released on an online platform a few weeks ago and it went viral among film buffs.

Saaho is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films this year as it happens to be Prabhas first film after the astounding success of the Baahubali franchise. With the star enjoying a big fan following across India, Saaho is sure to get a big opening. The film is being made in Telugu and will be released in Tamil and Hindi as well. It is set for a grand release on August 15 this year.
