Rosshan Andrrews and Manju Warrier team up for ‘Prathi Poovan Kozhi’

Rosshan Andrrews, the director who brought actor Manju Warrier back to Malayalam cinema after a gap of 14 years, will once again team up with her for a new film: Prathi Poovan Kozhi. Manju announced the news on her Facebook post on Saturday, saying: “Very happy and hopeful about my next film with my dear friend Rosshan Andrrews after "How Old Are You". Thanks to Shri. Gokulam Gopalan for making this happen! Shoot starts tomorrow!”

Gokulam Gopalan is the producer of the film. Unni R is writing it. G Balamurgan is doing the cinematography, Jyotish Shankar is the art director and Gopi Sunder is the music composer of the film.

Rosshan directed Manju’s comeback film How Old Are You in 2014 and it turned out to be one of the biggest hits in the Malayalam film industry. The film won several awards for Manju including the Kerala State Award for Best Actor (Female). The film was remade in Tamil as 36 Vayadhinile with Jyothika in the lead, making her comeback too after a gap of several years.

Manju Warrier is focussing on several projects at the moment. Recently, she released the first look of her upcoming film Kayattam. Sanal Kumar Sasidharan is wielding the megaphone for this venture with Manju Warrier co-producing it along with Shaji Mathew and Aruna Mathew.

She is also working on Jack and Jill, a film which has reached the post production stage. The film is directed by Santosh Sivan and also stars Kalidas Jayaram.

Apart from this, Manju is also making her Kollywood debut with Asuran, directed by. It has Dhanush playing the male lead. The technical crew of Asuran includes GV Prakash Kumar for music, Velraj for cinematography and Vivek Harshan for editing. The film is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Dhanu under his banner V Creations.
