Kajal Agarwal is riding high on success with her films doing well at the box office. The actor’s recent release, Nene Raju Nene Mantri, which had Rana Daggubati playing the lead role, has turned out to be a big hit.

In fact, Kajal had joined the promos to promote the film vigorously.

Kajal will also be seen starring opposite N Kalyanram in MLA, touted to hit the marquee later this year, along with two Tamil films – Ajith’s Vivegam and Vijay’s Mersal – in her kitty.

Vivegam is slated to hit the silver screens on August 24 and Mersal will be Diwali release.

Reports suggest that Kajal’s pay packet to star in Tamil movies had crossed Rs. 1.5 crore, while it remained less than Rs 1 crore for Telugu films.

Considering the work that she does and the response she has been receiving, Kajal has decided to demand a higher pay, say sources.

Kajal is currently busy shooting for the N Kalyanram starrer MLA aka Manchi Lakshananulla Abbayi.

Directed by Upendra Madhav, the film is being bankrolled by Kiran Reddy, Bharath Chowdary and T G Vishwa Prasad under the banner Blue Planet Entertainments and People Media Factory.

MLA also has Manali Rathod, Vennela Kishore and Brahmanandam in the star cast.

Apart from this, Kajal also has a Hindi movie Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se which is slated for release this year. She will also be seen making a guest appearance in the Nagarjuna starrer Raju Gari Gadhi.

With Kajal riding high on success and bagging some really enviable projects in both the Telugu and Tamil film industries, fans are waiting to see her being cast among the leading heroes in both the film industries.
