Written by : Digital Native

Director Yogaraj Bhat is gearing up for the release of his film Panchatantra, which has Vihaan, Sonal Monteiro and Akshara Gowda in the lead roles. The shooting for this flick is said to be in the final stages and now we hear that there is a huge demand for its Hindi and Telugu remake rights. Apparently, the director is in talks with producers from both the film industries and is on the verge of striking a deal. He will be wielding the megaphone for both the Telugu and Hindi versions, say sources. However, the lead actors will be chosen from the respective film industries.

Yogaraj Bhat is an accomplished filmmaker and his films have been remade in other languages in the past and have done well at the box office. Therefore, it is no surprise that the rights for Panchatantra is one of the most discussed topics in the Kannada film industry right now.

While Vihaan, Akshara and Sonal play the lead characters in the movie, Rangayana Raghu, Kari Subu, Deepal Shetty, Satyanna and others play supporting characters. V Harikrishna has composed the music for the film.

Director Yogaraj Bhat shot to limelight with the movie Manguru Male, which released in 2006 and went on to become a major hit. This film was later remade in Bengali and Telugu as well. Among others, he directed movies such as Gaalipata, Inthi Ninna Preethiya, Manasaare, Drama, Vaastu Prakaara and so on. His last film release was Mugulu Nage, which hit the marquee last year.

Soon after wrapping up Panchatantra, Yogaraj Bhat is likely to join hands with Shiva Rajkumar for a new project. The discussions for this project are on and an official word is expected to be out anytime soon. Meanwhile, fans eagerly await the release of the ace director’s upcoming film.
