Written by : TNM

Ram Charan's next, the Telugu remake of Jayam Ravi-starrer ‘Thani Oruvan’ titled ‘Dhruva’ is being filmed at a rapid pace under Surender Reddy's direction and the film's shoot is about to be wrapped up soon.

According to sources, the first look of Dhruva will be released on August 15, on the eve of Independence Day.

Unlike regular formulaic Telugu commercial cinemas which have at least six songs, Dhruva will have only three songs in total.

The audio launch is likely on September 2, on the eve of Pawan Kalyan's birthday.

Rakul Preet Singh will play the romantic interest of Ram Charan in the film.

To be produced by N V Pasad and Allu Aravind, the movie has Aravind Swamy in the negative role and Rakul as heroine.

The film will feature music by Hiphop Tamizha, who composed for the Tamil original and the cinematography is handled by PS Vinod.

The film is scheduled for release on October 7, just before the festival of Dussera.

Tollywood star Ram Charan, who is the son of actor-cum-politician Chiranjeevi made his acting debut with the film Chirutha.

His second film, Magadheera in 2009, directed by SS Rajamouli was a blockbuster, which helped Charan to establish himself as one of the leading contemporary actors of Tollywood.

He is a successful entrepreneur as well.
