Ram Charan and Vamsi Paidipally in talks for new film

Actor Ram Charan Teja and director Vamsi Paidipally share a good rapport right from Yevadu days. The film, a 2014 action entertainer, was one of the biggest hits in both their careers. Its hit status gave rise to speculations that the duo would work together again but it has not happened till date. According to some reports doing the rounds, Ram Charan and Vamsi are planning to team up after their current assignments are done.

Ram Charan is riding high on the success of his recent hits. Rangasthalam, featuring the actor in the lead role, hit the marquee earlier this year and has become a smash hit. The film was directed by Sukumar and showed Ram Charan in a new light. It brought out the best of his acting abilities and now fans are expecting more from his upcoming films.

Vamsi Paidipally is reported to have come up with an impressive one-line story for the star, who has given the go ahead to develop it further, say sources in the know. This project will most likely go on the floors after Ram Charan’s film with SS Rajamouli is wrapped up.

About SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film, it has been well-publicised that the film is a multi-starrer that will have Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles. The prep work for the film is on and the shooting will begin in October. Reports indicate that the team is planning it as a Sankranthi release in 2020 and that the shooting will be wrapped up on time. To be made on a budget of Rs 200 crore, the film will be bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainments.

Ram Charan Teja is now concentrating on his upcoming film with Boyapati Srinu. The team has wrapped up a couple of schedules and are on a location hunt to can an action block. The film is also bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainment. Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi will play the antagonist while actor Prashanth will be seen as Ram Charan’s brother with Sneha appearing in a crucial role.
