Raghavendra Rajkumar’s 25th film is in the offing. Reports say that the film has been titled Aadisidaatha and will be directed by Phaneesh Bharadhwaj. Interestingly, it will be a thriller and we hear that it will be the star’s first thriller in his career.

Director Phaneesh’s debut film Mylapura is gearing up for release and Aadisidaatha will be his second directorial venture. Phaneesh, in a recent interview to Cinema Express, said, “An actor like Raganna coming back to the screen is good news. Directing him is a great opportunity. However, I wanted to portray him in a different light, and I thought a film with a social message would be apt for him.”

While Raghavendra Rajkumar’s character will be a suspense till the interval, the film will also have six other pivotal characters. Of the six, actors have been signed up for three and they are Abhi, Shri and Arjun, confirmed the director.

The technical crew of this film includes Manikanth Kadri for composing music and Uday Ballal for cinematography. The film has been launched officially and Raghavendra Rajkumar’s first look in it has been unveiled. The shooting of Aadisidaatha will commence in a week’s time and locations in Bengaluru have been earmarked for it. The team will shoot in Mysuru and Madikere as well.

Raghavendra Rajkumar’s last film release was Ammana Mane, which hit the silver screens earlier this month. The film was directed by Nikhil Manju and bankrolled by Athmashree and RS Kumar. Sameer Kulkarni composed the music and the lyrics were written by Manojava Galagali. PVR Swamy is the cinematographer for this flick with N Aditya Kunigal in charge of the editing.

The star is currently busy with Pogaru, which is directed by Nanda Kishore. The film stars Dhruva Sarja with Shanvi Srivastava and Rashmika Mandanna as the female leads. Dhananjay and veteran Telugu actor Jagapathy Babu have been roped in to play the baddies in this flick.
