A self-confessed fan of Rajinikanth, actor-choreographer-director Raghava Lawrence met Super Star at his residence on Thursday. Sources say it was a courtesy call and Lawrence took blessings from the Super Star for his upcoming film Shivalinga and also updated him about the progress of two temples that he is building currently.

It was the Super Star's gesture that helped Lawrence get a dancers union ID during his struggling days and their relationship is well-known.

Raghava Lawrence is busy with his upcoming remake of recent Kannada blockbuster Shivalinga directed by P Vasu. Lawrence will be reprising Shivarajkumar’s role in the remake while Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame has been roped in for the role essayed by Vedhika in the original.
