Written by : TNM

After having back-to-back releases Motta Siva Ketta Siva and Sivalinga in the last few months, actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence is busy finalising things on his next project. While he has been in talks to work on the remake of Rajinikanth’s Mannan with P. Vasu, apart from a film with Karu Pazhaniappan, we have learnt he is in talks for a project with Rajamouli’s associate Mahadev and this film will have story by Vijayendra Prasad.

Sources close to the actor have confirmed final stages of talks are still underway and nothing has been firmed up yet. However, the team has already initiated talks with Kajal Aggarwal who is yet to listen to the script and give her nod. “Lawrence quite liked the film’s one line and is interested in the project. However, they’re yet to find a producer to bankroll the project. In the next couple of weeks, an official announcement can be expected from his side,” a source said.

This year, Lawrence will take time out to oversee the construction of a new building for orphaned children that he has been supporting through his charitable organization. In a recent media interaction, he had said that he is investing over Rs 1 crore for a new building for his children as they are in need of a bigger place to stay and study.

The source further added that the team is waiting for Kajal Aggarwal to return from Siberia where she’s shooting for Ajith’s Vivegam.
