Priyanka Upendra is all set to don the khakhi for the first time in her career in an upcoming project. The talented actor has said that she has agreed to sign on the dotted line for the upcoming project even though it will be directed by a debutant. The team reportedly impressed her with the narration of the script.

The Times of India quoted Priyanka as saying: “For the first time, I will be playing the role of a cop. It is a socio-political thriller inspired by real-life incidents. Though it is a young team, they are very creative and energetic, which was one of the reasons why I chose to do this film.”

According to director Yogi Devagange, the film will deal with various burning social issues including the recent reports of molestation in Bengaluru that rocked the nation. The director has also reportedly said that the film’s narration will follow a fast pace, with few dialogues during the first half.
