Prithviraj’s 'Ezra' turns out to be a mega grosser

Prithiviraj’s Ezra has turned out to be a mega grosser. Released on February 10, 2017, the film has earned positive reviews. The horror film has grossed Rs. 17.10 crores at the Indian box office during its 10-day run and it is still holding good at the theatres.

Directed by Jay K, the film has been produced jointly by A.V Anoop, Mukesh R. Mehta and C. V. Sarathy, under the banners AVA productions and E4 Entertainment. Ezra, a horror-love story that explores the Jewish culture, has been shot extensively in Fort Kochi.

Priya Anand plays Prithviraj’s lead pair in the film and it also stars Tovino Thomas, Sudev Nair, Vijayaraghavan, Sujith Shanker, Pratap K. Pothen, Babu Antony, Bharath Dabholkar, and Alencier Lopez. Sujith Vaassudev and Rajeev Ravi have cranked the camera for Ezra while Vivek Harshan has edited the film.

There are three songs in the album of which one has been composed by Rahul Raj and two by Sushin Shyam. With positive reviews and good word of mouth, Ezra is running to packed houses. Trade sources opine that the box office collections may go up even further, making the film a blockbuster hit.
