Pranav Mohanlal's 'Aadhi' earns a whopping Rs 20 crore in 11 days

Trade circles are abuzz with the news that the Pranav Mohanlal starrer Aadhi is a blockbuster hit. The film’s box office collections have now been revealed by the filmmakers and it is a whopping Rs. 20 crores in just 11 days of its release. Released on the Republic Day, January 26th amidst a lot of speculations, the film is doing well at the theatres. An action entertainer, Pranav has done almost all the dangerous stunts in the movie himself without opting for a dupe and this is the highlight that seems to attract the audiences to the theatres.

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, Aadhi was released in over 200 screens in Kerala and in another 100 screens across the country. Reports are that the film had completed 5000 screenings in about nine days of its release and it was jam-packed. A positive word of mouth along with good reviews draw audiences to the theatres in large numbers, say sources.

The film’s success was evident right from day one of its release, reveal sources. Reportedly, it had earned its producers about Rs. 1.5 crores share on its release day and it has been soaring since then. Written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film has been produced by Antony Perumbavoor under his banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

Pranav Mohanlal plays the lead role in the movie with Aditi Ravi, Anusree, Jagapati Babu, Siddique, Lena, Sharaf U Dheen, Siju Wilson, and other in the star cast. Anil Johnson had wielded the megaphone for this venture with Satheesh Kurup cranking the camera and Ayoob Khan editing it.

With the film turning out to be a success, Pranav Mohanlal’s fans are waiting for an announcement on his next film. Well, his next project is expected to be made soon, now that his debut movie has been declared a hit.
