Pranav Mohanlal is ready to begin his career as an actor in a thriller movie directed by Jeethu Joseph under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas, so goes the tweet by Malayali superstar Mohanlal on Friday afternoon.

The actor’s Facebook post offers a few more details and says Pranav will be essaying the lead role in a thriller film to be produced by Antony Perumbavoor.
It would be the second thriller from the Aashirvad stable after the Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam which had Mohanlal in the lead and which too incidentally was directed by Jeethu Joseph.
Pranav had bagged the Kerala State Award for the Best Child Artist in 2002 for his role in the Malayalam movie ‘Punarjani’ directed by Major Ravi.
He has also assisted director Jeethu Joseph in a couple of movies -Papanasam and Life of Joskutty- after completing his studies.
