Prabhudeva’s next directorial has story penned by late writer K Subaash

Actor-filmmaker Prabhudeva, who is basking in the success of "Devi", is gearing up for his next Tamil project.

Interestingly, this yet-untitled film has a story penned by K Subaash, who passed away earlier this week after a long battle with kidney-related problems.

Shell-shocked by the sudden demise of his dear friend, Prabhudeva has said that he was looking forward to work with on the writer's material in his next project, which will star Karthi and Vishal in the titular roles.

"I knew Subaash even before entering the industry. He served as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam and my father (Sundaram) worked with him closely during those days. I shared a special equation with Subaash, and I am still finding it hard to digest the fact that he is no more. In my acting career, he has given me two gems — Ninaivirukkum Varai and Eazhaiyin Sirippil, which established the performer in me," Prabhudeva told Deccan Chronicle

He further went on to add that Subaash was giving final touches to the script when he passed away.
