Playback singer Benny Dayal tied the knot with model-actress Catherine Thangam in Bengaluru on Sunday.

The 32-year-old ‘Badtameez Dil’ singer’s grand wedding at Temple Tree in Bengaluru saw many guests from the music fraternity. Music director Vishal Dadlani shared a photograph on Twitter with the newly-weds.

Also present was music maestro AR Rahman, who blessed the happy couple.

The Kerala-style wedding saw the groom in a white dhoti and kurta while the bride looked beautiful in an embellished saree in a nude colour.

Many who couldn’t attend the wedding took to twitter to congratulate Benny and his bride.

Benny catapulted to fame after his song ‘Pappu Can’t Dance’ from Imran Khan’s ‘Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na.’ He later lent his voice for songs like ‘Tu Meri Dost Hai’, ‘Kaise Mujhe’, ‘Tarkeebein’, ‘Daaru Desi’ and ‘Bang Bang’.
