Serbian tennis player Ana Ivanovic married German and Manchester United footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger on Tuesday at a grand ceremony in Venice.

The pair had been dating since 2014 and finally exchanged vows at the Palazzo Cavalli. Other players from the tennis fraternity including Angelique Kerber, Andy Murray and footballer Thomas Muller were reportedly in attendance.
Ivanovic bowed out of the first round at Wimbledon this year while Schweinsteiger was part of the World Cup winning German squad in 2014.
