Popular Tamil comedy actor Sathish got married to Sindhu, director Chachi's sister, weeks after the couple got engaged. 

Sathish, known for his roles in Ethir Neechal and Remo alongside Sivakarthikeyan and other films like Kaththi, Thamizh Padam 2 etc, started out working under Crazy Mohan in his theatre group, honing his skills in writing scripts and acting. He has also acted in Chocolate Krishna, one of the most popular plays of Crazy Mohan’s troupe. He has also worked with AL Vijay as a co-dialogue writer for the movie Poi Solla Porom.

Recently Sathish got engaged to Sindhu in a private ceremony in Chennai. As per reports, director Chachi got to know Sathish during the filming of Sixer, and the couple’s wedding was arranged by their parents.

Sathish had recently posted pictures of him meeting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami and inviting him for the wedding on December 11. The couple's star-studded wedding reception took place on December 10. Actors Vijay Sethupathi, Sathyaraj, Jiiva, Sivakarthikeyan, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Gautham Karthik, Manobala, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Mansoor Ali Khan, Vaiyapuri, Senthil, GV Prakash Kumar, director AR Murugadoss, speaker Dindigula Leoni, etc attended the reception and wished the couple.
