Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja married Delhi-based businessman Anand Ahuja in what can be termed a big fat Punjabi wedding on Tuesday.

The who’s who of Bollywood attended the big day including Amitabh Bachchan, Swara Bhaskar, Rani Mukherjee, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.

The couple also had what looked like a fun-filled mehendi and sangeet ceremony the day before. After the wedding, the festivities seemed to be far from over – the Kapoor and Ahuja families held a grand reception at The Leela in Mumbai the evening.

Many Bollywood bigwigs who seemed to be missing from the wedding itself made their presence felt at the reception – Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Salman Khan, Neeta Ambani and family, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna and many more.

The newlywed couple themselves radiant and in love, and the reception was attended by celebrities who added to their glamour and looked their stunning best.

If this makes you think that this was a formal affair, you could not be more wrong. Videos from Sonam and Anand’s reception proved that this was indeed a party with the top brass of Bollywood shaking a leg, singing, and dancing to celebrate the occasion.

Sonam’s father, Anil Kapoor, too could be seen having a gala time with Shah Rukh, Salman, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor as they grooved to music, sang top Bollywood tracks and more.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, who was last seen Padman along with Akshay Kumar, will next be seen in Veere Di Wedding, which also stars Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. The film is set to release on June 1, 2018.
