Pawan Kalyan to star in remake of Vijay's 'Theri'?

With Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu slotted for release on March 24, which is just a couple of days away, there is exciting news regarding his line-up of films.

While the present film is the remake of the Ajith starrer Veeram, news that he is looking forward to star in the remake of the Vijay starrer Theri has his fans excited.

A few days ago, reports also surfaced that Pawan Kalyan had evinced interest in the remake of two other Ajith starrers – Vedhalam and the upcoming Vivegam.

Katamarayudu has been directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani and produced by Sharath Marrar under his banner North Star Entertainment.

The film has Shruti Haasan pairing up with Pawan Kalyan for the second time after the blockbuster Gabbar Singh.

In an interview, Shruti was reported to have said that some changes have been made to the script and it wouldn’t be an exact remake of the original.

Cast in the supporting roles are Kamal Kamaraju, Ajay, Ali, Rao Ramesh, Nassar, 

Ayyappa P Sharma and Siva Balaji. Anup Rubens has composed music for this action entertainer.

The Power Star has inked a deal to star in a film to be directed by Koratala Siva, which will be his next outing.
