Pawan Kalyan ropes in Jilla director Neason for Telugu remake of Vedalam

Written by : TNM

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is all set to go ahead with the Telugu remake of Vedalam, and it will be directed by another Tamil director called R.T Neason, who had earlier helmed Vijay-starrer Jilla. Although Neason hasn't officially signed the project yet, he admitted that he's in talks with the Gabbar Singh actor and might sign on the dotted line in a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, Kalyan is all set to start working on a faction-based romantic drama with filmmaker S.J Suryah, and it's rumoured to be the remake of Ajith Kumar's blockbuster Veeram. The regular shooting of this project is expected to start from next month. The film's music director Anup Rubens has already composed two songs.

If this project materializes, it will be two remakes in a row for Kalyan, who is reeling from the disaster of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, for which he doubled up as a screenplay writer.
