Written by : Digital Native

Putting an end to rumours, sources close to the NTR biopic confirmed that the movie will be out in a single part. The rumor that the movie will be released in two parts had surfaced ever since the film was announced.

The shooting of the film will begin at the Ramakrishna Studios in Hyderabad on July 5 this year. The NTR biopic is N Balakrishna’s ambitious project and he is putting his heart and soul into it to let the world know more about his legendary father NT Rama Rao, who was a thespian and politician par excellence.

NTR had a huge fan following and went on to win the general elections and severed as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for three consecutive terms.

Balayya is playing the titular role in the biopic besides co-producing it along with Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri. Initially, it was announced that director Teja would wield the megaphone for the venture but the offer eventually went to Krish.

Rumours say the team has roped in Bollywood diva Vidya Balan as NTR’s wife Basavatharakam.

NT Rama Rao founded the Telugu Desam Party and served as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh for three terms. He died on 18 January 1996 following a cardiac arrest at the age of 72. NTR’s first wife Basavatharakam passed away in 1985 and he remarried Lakshmi Parvathi in 1993.

The biopic is slated for release next year on January 9.
