Kichcha Sudeep’s Hebbuli is all set for a massive release on February 23, a day before Maha Shivaratri. And to the delight of fans, the action entertainer, which is said to be based on the Indian army’s surgical strikes last year, has been certified ‘U/A’.

The Censor Board also did not advocate any cuts or mute any dialogues in the film, the film crew said during a recent news conference.

Hebbuli is reportedly set to be released in over 300 screens. Directed by Krishna, the film stars Amala Paul opposite Sudeep. Interestingly, Hebbuli marks Amala’s debut in the Kannada film industry.

Produced jointly by Raghunath and Umapathy Srinivas under the banners of SRV Productions and Umapathy Productions, the film has also stars V Ravichandran, Kabir Duhan Singh, P Ravi Shankar, Ravi Kishan, Shah, Sampath Raj and Avinash.

Music for the film has been scored by Arjun Janya, whose soundtrack was well-received following the audio release in December last year. The film features cinematography by A Karunakar and editing by Deepu S Kumar
