Nivin Pauly’s 'Sakhavu' will be a Vishu release

Nivin Pauly’s first release of 2017 will be Sakhavu. His fans have been waiting for a long time for this film to make it to the theatres. Sakhavu will be released on April 14, 2017 for Vishu.

National award winning director Sidhartha Siva has donned the director’s robes for this flick. Nivin Pauly plays a communist in Sakhavu and according to the storyline, his life supposedly undergoes a transformation after a visit to a medical college.

Aishwarya Rajesh plays the female lead in the movie which also has writer and actor Sreenivasan, Maniyanpilla Raju, Joju George, Aparna Gopinath and Gayathri Suresh in important roles. B Rakesh has produced the film under his banner Universal Cinema. Prashant Pillai has composed the tunes for Sakhavu and George C. Williams has cranked the camera while Bineesh Krishnan is the editor.

Sidhartha Siva had won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director for 101 Chodyangal in 2013 and the National Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam for Ain in 2015.
