Nivin Pauly’s next film in the pipeline will be Padavettu and it will be bankrolled by actor Sunny Wayne. Liju Krishna will be debuting as director with this film and he has scripted it as well. The first look poster was released to positive comments and has created a lot of hype already.

It may be noted here that Liju Krishna and Sunny Wayne have earlier worked together, when the latter produced the former’s play Moment Just Before Death.

Nivin Pauly is in the meantime expecting the release of two films – Love Action Drama and Moothon - this year. The shooting of the Dhyan Sreenivasan directorial, Love Action Drama, has finally been wrapped up successfully. Besides directing the film, actor turned filmmaker Dhyan has also penned the script. Love Action Drama has Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara playing the lead pair with Sreenivasan, Urvasi, Aju Varghese, Dhanya Balakrishnan and director Antony Joseph, playing pivotal roles in it. Shaan Rahman is the music composer for this film while the lyrics have been penned by Dhyan’s brother Vineeth Sreenivasan. Jomon T John is cranking the camera and the editing is done by Vivek Harshan with art direction being taken care of by Ajay Mangadu. The film has been shot extensively in Chennai, Bengaluru and Kochi. Actor Aju Varghese is producing this film in association with Vishak Subramaniam under the banner of Funtastic Films.

Moothon, Nivin’s other film in the pipleline, is directed by Geetu Mohandas. To be released in Malayalam and Hindi, noted filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is penning the script for the Hindi version of the film. National Award winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi is cranking the camera for Moothon. Handling the editing department is Ajithkumar while Govind Vasantha is in charge of the music. The movie is funded jointly by Bollywood filmmaker Anand L Rai’s production house Colour Yellow Productions and Jar Pictures. Eros International will be presenting the movie.
