Nivin Pauly’s next is 'Mikhael'

Nivin Pauly has announced the title of his next as Mikhael

Taking to Twitter to post the announcement, he wrote, “Super excited to announce my next project with one of the most stylish filmmakers #HaneefAdeni!! Titled #Mikhael, the film will be produced by my dearest #AntoJoseph! Rolling soon!”

The film will be directed by Haneef Adeni and bankrolled by Joseph Anto under his banner Anto Joseph Film Company.

Nivin Pauly has been busy with Kayamkulam Kochunni in which he plays the legendary highway man Kochunni who lived in the 19th century. He will be playing the Robin Hood type thief in the movie and sharing screen space with him in an extended cameo is Mohanlal as Ithikara Pakki. 

The shooting of this film was wrapped up last month and it is currently in the post production stage. Produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner Sree Gokulam Movies on a budget of Rs. 45 crores, the film’s release date is currently being finalised by the filmmakers. 

Kayamkulam Kochunni also features Priya Anand, Priyanka Thimmesh and Sunny Wayne in pivotal roles. Gopi Sunder is composing music for this film with Binod Pradhan cranking the camera and A Sreekar Prasad editing it. 

Nivin also has another upcoming film, Geethu Mohandas directorial Moothon. The shooting of this film is currently underway. A bilingual to be released in Malayalam and Hindi, the film also casts Sobhita Dhulipala, Shashank Arora, Harish Khanna, Alencier Ley Lopez and Dileesh Pothan. 

Moothon, which is about a younger sibling going in search of the elder, is bankrolled by Aanand L. Rai, Ajay G. Rai and Alan McAlex under the banner Colour Yellow Productions and JAR Pictures.
