A few weeks ago, there were reports that Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara would be sharing the screen space for the first time in their careers. The film was supposed to commence this year but the schedule has now been changed to accommodate the lead stars’ availability, say sources. Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara starrer Love Action Drama will go on the floors next year. Reports say that Love Action Drama’s shooting has been rescheduled to next year. Actor Dhyan Sreenivsan, son of veteran actor Sreenivasan, will be wielding the megaphone for this venture.

Love Action Drama is supposed to be the remake of the hit film Vadukkunokkiyanthram and Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara will be reprising the roles done by Dineshan and Shobha respectively. Speaking about the upcoming film, Dhyan Sreenivasan reportedly said, “The film has been titled Love, Action, Drama. It's a modern day take on Vadakkunokkiyanthram. Even though Nivin's character will have a few similarities to Dineshan of the yesteryear movie, there are no other likenesses.” Well, this indicates that Love Action Drama wouldn’t be an exact remake of Vadakkunokkiyanthram.

Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly is busy with his upcoming film Kayamkulam Kochunni, which is based on the life of the highwayman, Kochunni. Incidentally, a film on the legendary highwayman was made in 1966 by director PA Thomas and had Sathyan playing the lead role. Also, Nivin has the Geethu Mohandas directorial Moothon in his kitty and will be joining the sets in Lakshwadeep.

On the other hand, Nayan has a slew of films in Tamil and a Telugu film that needs her attention. Her current projects in various stages of production are Imaikka Nodigal, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, Aramm, and Velaikaran and in Telugu she has Aaradugula Bullet.
