Nivetha Thomas is fast emerging as one of the most wanted heroines in the Telugu film industry. Her role in Ninnu Kori and Jai Lava Kusa was well appreciated but it was in the Kalyan Ram starrer 118 that the actor proved that she can handle any type of role with ease. 118 was bankrolled by PRO Mahesh Koneru under his banner East Coast Productions and directed by KV Guhan. Sharing the screen space with Kalyan Ram in this flick as his heroines were Nivetha Thomas and Shalini Pandey.

With good offers coming her way, Nivetha Thomas is speculated to be one among the two heroines roped in for the multi starrer that Indraganti Mohan Krishna is directing. An official announcement regarding her role is expected to be out soon. The film, touted to be a neo noir thriller, has Nani and Sudheer Babu playing the lead roles. Interestingly, Nani’s role in the film will have shades of grey and Sudheer Babu will be seen as a police officer.

On the other heroine roped in for this project, we hear that it will be Aditi Rao Hydari. She will be paired opposite Nani, say sources. The film, which has not been titled yet, will be bankrolled by ace producer Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Sources in the know say that the film’s script work is still in progress and its makers will be announcing the rest of the cast and crew in a few days. The shooting of this untitled film is expected to commence in summer this year.

Nivetha Thomas currently has Swaasa and Brochevarevarura in her kitty needing her attention. She has also bagged a role in the Rajinikanth starrer Darbar to be directed by AR Murugadoss. This film is scheduled for release for Pongal next year.
