Nithin’s 'Bheeshma' release pushed to next year

Nithin’s Bheeshma turned out to be one of the expected films of the year after a poster of the film with the hero in a brand new look went viral among the netizens. It has Rashmika Mandanna as his lead pair. Venky Kudumula is the director of Bheeshma and it is bankrolled by Naga Vamsi. Music composer Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.

The plan earlier was to release the film in December this year but according to reports doing the rounds now, it has been postponed to next year. Bheeshma will be making it to the theatres on February 21st to coincide with the Mahah Shivaratri festival, say sources.

With Bheeshma coming to an end, Nithin will be concentrating on the Chandrasekar Yeleti directorial, which remains untitled as of now. Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in to play the female lead in it and Priya Warrier will be the other heroine romancing the hero. While the muhurat took place, the filmmakers are yet to disclose details about the shooting schedules.

Besides these two films, Nithin also has Rang De needing directed by Venky Atluri who earlier directed ‘Tholi Prema’ and ‘Mr. Majnu’.This film was launched on October 8th on the Dusshera eve, Illustrious director Trivikram gave clap over to the lead actors Nithin and Keerthy Suresh. Keerthy Suresh will be playing the female lead in this flick, which is being bankrolled by Naga Vamsi under the banner Sithara Entertainments, Devi Sri Prasad is the music director and it is set for a summer 2020 release.

Nithin’s last film was Srinivasa Kalyanam, which released last year. The star took nearly one year to pick his next film and has come back with three projects in a row!
