Next for Prithviraj is ‘The Railway Guard’

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s next is titled The Railway Guard. The star will be associating with director Deepu Karunakaran for the film. They have earlier worked together for Teja Bhai and Family.

On The Railway Guard, Prithviraj posted on his social media page, “The barren terrains of north and northeastern India. Thousands of kilometres of one of the world’s largest railroad network traverse through these often hostile terrains. There, at the end of a goods train that carries anything from coal to grains, he keeps watch alone. The scorching heat, the freezing cold, the darkest nights and the beat of the locomotive keep him company. This is the seldom told story of a barely known hero. This is the story of... THE RAILWAY GUARD.” 

The film is written by Unni R. Prithviraj has also added a poster of the film, that shows a man’s face form against a railway line.

More details about this film is expected to be out soon. In the meantime, Prithviraj is busy with Driving License. It is helmed by Jean Paul Lal alias Lal Jr. Prithviraj is bankrolling the project under his home banner Prithviraj Productions in association with Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames. The script for Driving License has been penned by Sachy. Touted to be a thorough commercial entertainer, Driving License is about a superstar who is crazy about luxury cars. The technical crew of this film includes Ranadive for wielding the camera and Sushin Shyam to compose the tunes. 

Pirthviraj’s film Brother’s Day is releasing this Friday, as part of the Onam releases. Actor Kalabhavan Shajohn has made his directorial debut with the film. Listin Stephen is bankrolling the film under his banner Magic Frames on a budget of Rs 15 crore. Miya George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prayaga Rose Martin and Madonna Sebastian have been roped in to play the female leads in this film. The film is expected to be a thriller peppered with action and comedy.
