There's been a lot of buzz ever since it was announced that Nayanthara will play a pivotal role in upcoming thriller Imaikaa Nodigal, which stars Atharvaa and Raashi Khanna in the lead and marks the Tamil acting debut of Anurag Kashyap in the role of an antagonist. The film, helmed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, went on the floors on Friday.

Nayanthara will not be pairing up with Atharva in the film, but would be essaying the role of a police commissioner and will take Anurag head on.

Interestingly, Nayanthara and Anurag will slug it out in an action scene which is said to be one of the highlights of the film.

Tipped to be a nail-biting thriller, RD Rajasekhar has been roped in to take care of the cinematography while Hip-Hop Tamizha will compose the music. The film will be produced by Cameo Films.
