Nandita Swetha roped in for Dr Rajasekhar’s next

Nandita Swetha had paired up with Dr Rajasekhar in Kalki and has once again bagged a role in his upcoming film. Yet to be titled, this film is being directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy. According to reports about this project, it is an interesting film with oodles of thriller elements thrown in. Touted to be an action thriller, the shooting for this film will begin later next month, we hear. The cast and crew are expected to be officially revealed soon.

While Nandita Swetha’s last release was Kalki, she currently has a couple of Kannada films besides a Tamil and Telugu movie in her kitty.

While Dr Rajasekhar played the lead role in Kalki and was seen as a cop, the star cast included Adah Sharma and Nandita Swetha as the female leads. Poojitha Ponnada, Scarlett Mellish Wilson, Rahul Ramakrishna, Nassar, Ashtosh Rana, Siddu Jonnalagadda, Shatru, Charandeep, Venugopal, Vennela Ramarao, DS Rao, Amith Sharma and Sathish were seen in supporting roles. Directed by Prashanth Varma of Awe fame, the film was a crime thriller set in the 1980s. Shravan Bharadwaj had composed music for this venture, which hit the marquee in June this year.

Director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy’s last film release was the Tamil movie Sathya. It was produced by Maheshwari Sathyaraj under the banner Naathambal Film Factory. Featuring Sibi Raj in the lead role, the film had Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Remya Nambeesan playing the female leads. Sathish, Anandaraj, Aathma Patrick, Ravi Varma and Siddhartha Shankar were also part of the star cast. Arunmani Palani worked with the camera and Goutham Ravichandran was in charge of the editing.
