Nagarjuna reunites with director Raghavendra Rao for ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’

Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna’s much anticipated mythological drama, “Om Namo Venkatesaya”, finally went on the floors on Saturday. In the film helmed by veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao, Nagarjuna will be seen playing godman Hathiram, an ardent devotee of Venkateswara.

Audiences are eager to find out what the team have in store for them , as this is the fourth time the actor and director are teaming up for a mythological film.  Produced by A Mahesh Reddy, the film also stars Anushka Shetty, Vimala Raman, Pavani Gangireddy and Saurabh Raaj Jain.

Speaking to The Hindu recently, Raghavendra said about the film, “I treat it as a divine opportunity bestowed on me in the aftermath of the sensational hit of ‘Annamayya.’ We have been working on the script since eight long years after the Telugu blockbuster.”
