Nagarjuna or son – who is playing a cop in Chandoo Mondeti’s next?

Written by : TNM

Following the success of Premam, director Chandoo Mondeti had hinted about teaming up with Ravi Teja, and had confirmed in a few interviews that talks had been initiated. In the latest turn of events, rumours are doing the rounds that the young filmmaker might team up with Naga Chaitanya again and this time the latter will be seen donning the khaki. There are also reports that Chandoo has also pitched the same story to Nagarjuna, and if everything works out as planned, he might play a cop in the same film.

“Originally, Chandoo had written the script for Chai, and he wanted to make the film with him. However, he’s a huge fan of Nagarjuna too, and was wondering if he could get an opportunity to direct him. Therefore, he’s kept the option open to work with either of them. Since it’s a cop story, there isn’t much that has to be changed in the story even if he decides to work with Nagarjuna,” a source said.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is back from a trip to Paris. Chandoo is hoping to meet him soon to narrate the final draft of the story to see if he’d be interested in being a part of the project.
