Music composer Darbuka Siva is donning the director’s robes for the film Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee. The announcement about the music composer’s directorial debut is out officially now with the producers revealing it in the social media.

Besides directing this film, Darbuka Siva will also be composing the music for Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee. Sameer Bharath Ram is bankrolling the project under his banner Super Talkies. Sujith Sarang will be cranking the camera for this venture with Sreejith Saranj in charge of the editing. Reports are that the shooting of this film is over and the details about its release date will be revealed soon.

Meanwhile, Darbuka Siva is expecting the release of his debut film Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta for which he has composed the tunes. In this Gautham Menon directorial, Dhanush plays the lead role with Megha Akash as his lead pair.

The film also has the Baahubali star Rana Daggubati making a cameo appearance. The film began production in March 2016 and was wrapped up last year but its release date has been delayed for various reasons. Recently it was announced that the distribution rights of the film have been acquired by Vels Film International and it is slated to hit the screens on November 29.

It may be noted here that when the project began,  Siva's identity was kept a secret for a long time. The makers promoted him as Mr. X to create curiosity amongst fans. The idea paid off as the songs were extremely well received. There were rumors that AR Rahman was the composer of the album after the phenomenal response to the first single of the album. For months, the makers dodged every speculation and maintained secrecy about the composer's name.
