Music composer Anirudh gears up for Chennai concert in October

Written by : TNM

After setting the stage on fire with his concerts over the last 12 months, young sensational composer Anirudh Ravichander will finally be performing live in Chennai this October.

Confirming the news in a recent interview, he said he will be performing in India, following his overseas tours to Malaysia and Dubai. Amid the beep song controversy last year, the ‘Why This Kolaveri’ composer was on a concert spree and has been entertaining his fans overseas with his live performances at regular intervals.

Known for his work in hit albums such as 3, Maan Karate, Ethir Neechal, Kaaki Sattai, Maari and Vedalam, Anirudh also revealed that he’d not like to take up too many film projects as he feels there’s too much pressure to deliver which sometimes affects his creativity.

Besides Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo, this year Anirudh will be seen working on RUM and Ajith’s Thala 57. He also said that he’d like to work on independent albums where he’d get an opportunity to collaborate with other singers and musicians.

As part of his collaborative idea, he’d be part of American DJ and producer Diplo’s latest album. After listening to Anirudh's hits such as Avalukena, Aaluma Doluma and Kolaveri, Diplo is said to have been impressed and brought the young composer on board for his next.
